Posted: Thursday, May 9, 2024
PARTA is working with AMATS, the regional metropolitan planning organization, and the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) to add projects to the local TIP. PARTA wants to contribute some of its federal funds awarded under the Federal Transit Administration’s (FTA) 5307 program to the City of Kent’s E. Main Street project to have bus shelters purchased and installed. Other changes to the TIP include adding projects to be paid for with ODOT funds. These include new HVAC units for the PARTA administration building, maintenance equipment, and a roof renovation project. The full TIP amendment request is available here.
