See what President Barack Obama ordered at Jolly Pumpkin in Detroit

DETROIT -- President Barack Obama was a little picky at Jolly Pumpkin Pizzeria and Brewery in Detroit's Cass Corridor Wednesday.

He stopped for lunch at the new Detroit restaurant before heading to the North American International Auto Show, where he met with Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan, the founder of Shinola and Dr. Tolulope Sonuyi, an emergency medicine physician in the city.

Jolly Pumpkin posted a video on Facebook taken by an employee while the President ordered at the counter. He wanted the JP Burger, but he didn't want any of the unique ingredients on top.

He just wanted "a regular old cheddar cheese burger," the POTUS says in the video, with some lettuce, tomato and mustard on it.

The JP Burger typically comes with creamy cambozola cheese, bacon, cremini mushrooms and mustard on it.

He wasn't interested in any of that.

The President also ordered a side salad -- so the First Lady wouldn't yell at him, he said -- and some fries.

It's hard to see much in the video, but the President can clearly be heard ordering his meal. Watch the video below:

You've been asking! The official President Obama order was... a JP Cheddar Burger and Truffle fries! We will be running...

Jolly Pumpkin is on of several restaurants in the Cass Corridor neighborhood, which is also known as midtown, to see strong patronage in 2015. The brewery opened its Detroit location down the street from popular watchmaker Shinola last April.

President Obama was in Detroit Wednesday to visit the auto show and make remarks at a UAW hall.
