Luke Perry Covers AARP The Magazine [Huffington Post]
In magazine cover news that’s actually surprising, Luke Perry, star of (the original) Beverly Hills, 90210, was featured on a cover of AARP The Magazine in celebration of his 50th birthday. The cover was just a mock-up for social media only (Warren Beatty, 79, covers the physical copy of the October/November issue). However, needless to say, Twitter users freaked out anyway over the fact that their favorite Beverly Hills bad boy was a card-carrying member of AARP.

They also plan to meet with local politicians to discuss the matter next week.

Glamour magazine is auctioning off tickets to its annual Women of the Year Awards, held this year in Los Angeles on Nov. 14, as well as various experiences, including the chance for one high bidder to be “editor for a day” and hang out with an editor in either the L.A. or New York offices. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the auction, which is hosted on eBay, will benefit The Girl Project, a nonprofit which supports secondary school education in 95 countries.
