Reconstruído em 1873, o cais foi um terminal público de viagens de barco entre Coloane, Taipa e a Península de Macau, onde estavam atracados navios de pequeno porte, antes da Estrada do Istmo e da Ponte Governador Nobre de Carvalho entrarem em serviço.

1873년 재건축된 콜로안 선착장은 콜로안, 타이파, 마카오 반도를 잇는 공공선착장으로, ‘이스트라다 두 이스트무’와 ‘노브리 지 카르발류 총독 대교’가 생기기 전에는 작은 배로 북적이던 곳이었습니다. 옛날에는 마카오, 타피아, 콜로안을 오가는 승객을 위한 배를 여기서 탔습니다. 또한 본토까지도 운행했기 때문에 관리 목적으로 세관도 있었습니다. 그러나 시간이 가면서 다리를 짓고 바다를 매립함에 따라 선착장의 기능도 하나 둘 사라지게 되었습니다. 그래도 맛있는 건해산물의 냄새가 코 끝을 스치면 사람들로 북적이던 선착장의 옛 모습이 떠오르는 듯 합니다.
