These cut-outs are really fun and versatile, and have plenty of possibilities for use. You could use them to bring the story to life, by using them like puppets as you read the story out. For this, simply stick a straw or lollipop stick to the back of each cut-out, so you can move it easily.
Love this! Great way to retell the story and also challenge the children to recall their memory of the story.

Alternatively, they also make a great display resource. Stick them up around your classroom to bring a pop of colour to the environment. They would look great in your reading corner, or in a display about favourite books.
Cutting out the shapes could also be a great way to improve children’s cutting skills. Some of the cut-outs will be easier than others, so they could start with some of the fruit, before moving on to the more intricate butterfly when they feel ready. This is a great way to develop children’s fine motor skills.
