LOVE Island producers have been forced to inform Zara Holland she’s been stripped of her Miss Great Britain title.
A show insider tells The Sun Online that the 20-year-old reacted well to the shock, revealing: “Zara took the news fairly well, viewers will be able to see her reaction and her telling the rest of the Islanders on Sunday.”
The news comes after a rep for the show informs us they made the decision to inform her off camera so she didn’t face the humiliation of any new arrivals on the show telling her.
A spokesman for Love Island added: “Zara was informed of the news off camera this morning. She is now back in the villa and has chosen to remain in the show."
Zara was stripped of her Miss GB title after furious pageant bosses watched as she romped on the show with Vicky Pattison’s ex, Alex Bowen.
An official statement from the pageant organisers read: “The feedback we have received from pageant insiders and members of the general public is such that we cannot promote Zara as a positive role model moving forward.
“We wholly understand that everyone makes mistakes, but Zara, as an ambassador for Miss Great Britain, simply did not uphold the responsibility expected of the title.”
