Welcome to your Queer Weekly Horoscope, a bite-sized look at the coming days broken down by your zodiac sign.

Welcome to your weekly horoscope! Astrologically, we’re not scheduled for anything terribly complicated in the coming days. Mercury jets from Capricorn to Aquarius in the first 10 minutes of Monday, communing with Pluto to have a serious conversation about change. The Sun focuses on healing by assessing past and future. Mars and Neptune join forces to confuse everyone in a good way, and the New Moon in Aquarius generates fresh beginnings for the whole zodiac.

Aquarius goes first this week, then each sign will proceed in sequence until everybody’s fate is foretold. If you know more of your placements than your Sun Sign alone (Moon, Rising, Venus, etc.), check their entries as well to get a full picture of your astrological forecast.

Aquarius
What the stars are up to:
  • The Sun and Pluto are in your sign. Mercury joins them in the earliest moments of Monday.
  • The Sun forms sextiles with Chiron and the North Node, creates a trine with the South Node, and squares off against Uranus.
  • Mercury passes through conjunction with Pluto and squares off against Jupiter.
  • Venus creates a trine with Uranus.
  • The New Moon in your sign passes through conjunction with Pluto and Mercury, squares off against Jupiter and Uranus, then begins a fresh lunar cycle in conjunction with the Sun.
What it means:

This week inspires a great accounting of your soul. It's time to review where you're at, how you got there, and where you want to go next. Try not to be too ruthlessly critical of yourself. You're eager for a new phase and unsentimental about the past, but remember that you couldn't have reached this point without navigating the entire route you've already taken. Take some time to consider this all at length, even if only to yourself. Then, when the New Moon hangs quiet in your sky on Friday, it will finally be time to enter the next major epoch of your life.

Pisces
What the stars are up to:
  • Saturn and your ruler Neptune are in your sign.
  • Mars forms a sextile with Neptune.
  • The waxing crescent Moon in your sign passes through conjunction with Saturn, then forms sextiles with Jupiter, Uranus, and Venus.
What it means:

You're due for a flood of insight. Often, epiphanies can feel grounding as new realizations sink deep into your understanding. But not this week! Your forthcoming revelation calls for movement, demanding immediate action and effort. Don't worry about putting the wrong foot forward. Your intuition will guide you unerringly.

Aries
What the stars are up to:
  • Chiron and the North Node are in your sign. Your ruler Mars is in Capricorn.
  • The Sun forms sextiles with Chiron and the North Node.
  • Venus squares off against the North Node.
  • Mars forms a sextile with Neptune.
What it means:

You prefer action over rumination, but occasionally the two are intertwined. Healing and progress often require a thorough examination of the past. Oddly enough, you'll actually want to make that effort this week. Sit down and shoulder the sometimes unpleasant work of looking backwards. You'll be rewarded with comprehension that will launch you back forward.

Taurus
What the stars are up to:
  • Jupiter and Uranus are in your sign. Your ruler Venus is in Capricorn.
  • Venus squares off against Chiron and the Nodes of the Moon’s orbit, then creates a trine with Uranus.
  • The Sun squares off against Uranus.
  • Mercury squares off against Jupiter.
What it means:

You're about to feel really irritated for nebulous reasons you can't quite name. Good thing you've got a lot of practice at being grumpy! This mood isn't much fun, but unfortunately it's necessary. Certain flashes of understanding can only be felt from the inside of a heavy, roiling cloud of emotion. It sucks to get stormed on, for sure, but how else do you get to see lightning? Try to savor the rumbling echo of thunder in the darkness.

Gemini
What the stars are up to:
  • In the first minutes of the week, your ruler Mercury moves from Capricorn to Aquarius.
  • Mercury passes through conjunction with Pluto, then squares off against Jupiter.
What it means:

You're on track for major metamorphosis, but not expansion — not quite yet. First, you have to fantasize internally on the shape of your desired future. Only then, once you've become deeply enamored of your own hopes, can you truly begin to plan. Give your mind the time it needs to daydream. The most important insight arrives during playful periods of imagination; it can't be forced.

Cancer
What the stars are up to:
  • Your ruler the Moon travels through Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces.
  • In Aquarius, the New Moon begins a fresh lunar cycle in conjunction with the Sun!
  • In Pisces, the Moon reaches the closest point of its orbit around Earth.
What it means:

Your emotions trend positive at present. You may experience growing pains in creative capacity on Thursday and Friday, but other than that your week is smooth sailing. The New Moon in Aquarius brings closure and initiates a time of renewal. On Saturday, the Moon draws close to the Earth and you feel a great swell of affection in your heart.

Leo
What the stars are up to:
  • Your ruler the Sun is in your sibling sign, Aquarius.
  • The Sun forms sextiles with Chiron and the North Node, creates a trine with the South Node, and squares off against Uranus.
What it means:

Boldly off-trend from the vibe of the season, you are (temporarily) forsaking the fun of weirdness to be pragmatic. Something from your past calls for attention, and its resolution promises to open a path forward. When you notice it, you'll be ready. You rightfully value creativity, but some problems require time-tested solutions rather than fanciful innovation. Pay attention to your own needs, take care of your heart first, and then you can return to reckless adventure.

Virgo
What the stars are up to:
  • Lilith is in your sign.
  • In the first minutes of the week, your ruler Mercury moves from Capricorn to Aquarius.
  • Mercury passes through conjunction with Pluto, then squares off against Jupiter.
What it means:

Your conversations take a left turn into oddity when your sign ruler Mercury moves from a fellow earth sign to Aquarius. You’re likely to take some verbal detours, going down overgrown trails that branch off from your usual paths. It's time to go searching for secrets in the undergrowth! You can resume your climb up the mountain later, when your curiosity about the mysteries of the forest has been fully satisfied.

Libra
What the stars are up to:
  • The South Node is in your sign. Your ruler Venus is in Capricorn.
  • Venus squares off against Chiron and the South Node, then creates a trine with Uranus.
  • The Sun creates a trine with the South Node.
What it means:

This is a huge week for your past. You don't want to dwell on old stuff, but whoa buddy, you're gonna! Flop on down in the mud and make yourself comfortable; prepare for some moping. Let go and relax into preoccupation with that one embarrassing moment from five years ago! Your brain is working on something important by replaying such an unpleasant memory, and it'll pass more quickly if you stop trying to shut down the system update and simply let your psyche do its thing.

Scorpio
What the stars are up to:
  • Your sign ruler Pluto is in Aquarius.
  • Mercury moves from Capricorn to Aquarius, then passes through conjunction with Pluto.
What it means:

Aha! There are words to explain the enormous changes you're going through, and they'll come to you this week! When you can’t phrase your feelings precisely, you'd usually rather remain quiet. But as your loved ones can attest, when you do want to talk, you will not shut up. Warn your household, or invest in a journal: you’re on the verge of unloading a memoir’s worth of realizations all over everybody in your immediate vicinity.

Sagittarius
What the stars are up to:
  • The waning crescent Moon in your sign forms a sextile with the Sun, then squares off against Neptune.
  • Your sign ruler Jupiter is in Taurus.
  • Mercury moves from Capricorn to Aquarius, then squares off against Jupiter.
What it means:

You catch a rare instance of ill luck with interpersonal communication. The problem might actually stem from your signature fair fortune. Other people can occasionally become exasperated that you have it "easy," relative to their own self-perceived plights. If someone is intent on misinterpreting your words or ascribing false motives to your movements, let them spin their sad fictions alone. Without you around to serve as a target, they’ll quickly tire of their misplaced indignance.

Capricorn
What the stars are up to:
  • Venus and Mars are in your sign. Mercury spends 10 minutes of Monday in your sign, then moves on to Aquarius. Your ruler Saturn is in Pisces.
  • Venus squares off against Chiron and the Nodes of the Moon’s orbit, then creates a trine with Uranus.
  • Mars forms a sextile with Neptune.
  • The waning crescent Moon in your sign forms sextiles with Saturn and Neptune, creates trines with Jupiter and Uranus, and passes through conjunction with Venus and Mars.
What it means:

You’re stuck for a few days this week. You won’t want to move forward, you don’t want to look back, and you damn sure aren't interested in proactively working to solve your problems. You’d just like to be left alone for a while to think of nothing! Instead, you encounter some extreme weirdness. But before you can become too mired in the strange situation, a surge of energy and intuition comes through to show you a way out. The Moon in your sign proves intensely productive, then escorts you to a period of renewal when it travels onward to Aquarius.
