Porn star Jenna Jameson and mixed martial arts champ Tito Ortiz went through a highly-publicized split in 2013, but they’re still battling over ownership of the Huntington Beach home they shared, according to court records.
In a civil lawsuit filed against Ortiz on July 6, Jameson says she owns half of the waterfront home they shared on Baruna Lane from 2008 to 2013. Ortiz, who has custody of the couple’s twin boys, currently is the sole owner of the home, according property records.
The suit filed in Orange County Superior Court claims Jameson contributed to most of the down payment and allowed Ortiz’s name to be on the title with the understanding that Jameson would have 50 percent of the financial interests.
During their five years in the home together, Jameson kept up the house for Ortiz, “acted as his intimate companion” and cared for their sons with the expectation that she would share equally in the property, according to the suit.
When the couple split in May 2013, Ortiz kept the title in his own name and has since failed to add Jameson’s name to the title, the suit says. Jameson, who is being represented by Los Angeles-based attorney Herbert Abrams, is asking to impose a trust to show joint ownership of the property.
The case is pending.
