23-year-old Karolina Bielawska of Poland has been crowned Miss World.

Toni-Ann Singh of Jamaica, now the longest reigning Miss World in history, crowned her successor on Wednesday at the Coca-Cola Music Hall in Puerto Rico.

Shree Saini from the United States is the first runner-up, and Olivia Yace from Côte d'Ivoire took the second runner-up spot.

The 70th edition of the Miss World pageant was set to take place in December 2021 but was later postponed due to Covid-19 concerns. The top 40 returned to Puerto Rico this week to compete for the coveted title.

Despite being identified as an early front-runner, South Africa's Shudufhadzo Musida did not place.
