Our very own Miss Seychelles, Kelly-Mary Anette, will be opening the national costume and evening gown rounds for the 49th Miss Intercontinental being held in Egypt.
Seemingly fitting as Seychelles celebrates its Creole Festival, the young Kelly-Mary will proudly showcase her tradition, culture and the vibrant colours of Seychelles as well as her evening gown today in the pageant’s finale.
The show, which will take place at the Museum of Sharm el Sheik will be accessible via YouTube on the Miss Intercontinental page at 5.50pm, Seychelles time.
Fanni Miko of Hungary will crown her successor at the end of the event.
Kelly-Mary has been in Egypt for over 19 days, staying at the Sunrise Diamond Beach Resort, and is up against contestants from all over the world vying for the ultimate crown and sash.
During their stay in Egypt, Kelly-Mary and the contestants have been busy with photo shoots, video shoots, bikini competition show, a sports day event, sight-seeing, boat cruises, safaris, galabeya gathering and much more.
“The experience is truly once in a lifetime. The journey to get here was not easy and of course I did not expect that when I got here it would be easy either. In general, Miss Intercontinental reminded me of the diversity of beauty of the five continents and how the world is a melting pot of cultures,” said Kelly-Mary.
