Sandra Bullock says 'privates accidentally became exposed' after nude scene mishap

American actress Sandra Bullock has spoken about her time filming with Ryan Reynolds on a hit noughties rom-com, with her even addressing the nude scene they filmed together that left the duo "unstuck".

Back in 2009 both beloved Hollywood stars took on lead roles in The Proposal, a romantic-comedy about a no-nonsense New York editor Margaret (played by Sandra) and how she convinces her assistant Andrew (played by Ryan) to marry her in return for a promotion so that she can stay in the country. Needless to say, they end up falling madly in love at the end.

In the movie, the two actors can be seen starring in a nude scene together, which left fans and viewers in a state of shock. Viewers weren't stunned because of how racy the scene was though, but instead because it was actually quite hilarious.

The couple accidentally ended naked at the same time by accident, which came after Sandra's character Margaret searched for a towel after having a shower. Ryan's character Andrew then bumped into her which left them falling over and landing on top each other on the floor - all while naked of course.

And now Sandra, 59, has spoken out about the awkward nude scene with Blake Lively's now-husband. The Premonition star reportedly lifted the lid on the behind-the-scenes gossip in an interview, according to LadBible, with her saying: "You have things covering up your essential parts but they get unstuck. And, oddly enough, we didn't care because we were so tired. Ann was like, 'Sandra, your vagina is hanging out. Cover it up.' I'm like, 'Oh, sorry, sorry.'"

"And the crew would be like, 'Jeez, her nipple is showing'," she added. Sandra went on: "They weren't titillated, they were unhappy because they knew we had to retake the shot. They're like, 'We want to go to lunch. Cover the nip.' So that's pretty much how the day went."

In the chat, Sandra then spoke about how she even managed to compliment Ryan during their nude scene. "The nudity was appropriate for the film. I had to be buck-naked," she said.

"The big thing was that it was funny. And the only way it could be funny was if you saw my whole body. Ann Fletcher, the director, was amazing in how she choreographed it because we knew we couldn't show anything too explicit," she went on.

Sandra then added: "I had a little bit more area to cover than Ryan did, so it was a little trickier for me. But I can talk about Ryan's penis if you want. I mean if I looked like him, I'd be naked all the time."

Sandra has starred in many hit movies, with just some being Bird Box, The Blind Side, Miss Congeniality, The Net and Crash. Meanwhile, Ryan has starred in Deadpool, Safe House and Ghosted, among many other titles.
