FEATURES

The 2017 RX has standard features to suit your every need, including an infotainment system with 8-inch command screen, 9-speaker audio system, and connectivity via Bluetooth, micro SD card slot, auxiliary input, or USB port, so you can connect any of your mobile devices. It’s also compatible with iPhones and features Siri Eyes Free. Additionally, each model is equipped with a power tailgate, 10-way power driver’s seat, power-adjustable steering wheel, high-quality faux leather seating, rain-sensing windshield wipers, rearview camera, and HomeLink garage door opener.
Available options include leather seats, power moonroof, heated steering wheel, ventilated and heated seating, navigation, upgraded infotainment system, and a 15-speaker Mark Levinson sound system. If you’re planning on any road trips in the future, you may also be interested in the rear-seat entertainment system with DVD and two screens.

STYLING

The newly styled RX 450h has sharp, angular lines and the signature Lexus spindle grille, framed by LED headlights, bold air ducts, and chrome trim. The low roofline keeps it aerodynamic, while a wide stance ensures stability and gives it a sporty yet luxe look.
Inside, the seating is nothing less than plush and supportive, no matter which trim level you choose, and the center console has been redesigned to add room for an easy-to-operate climate control and audio system. You’ll also love the ample legroom and more than 18 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats. When the back seats are folded down, cargo space expands to 56 cubes.

SAFETY

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety named the 2017 Lexus RS a Top Safety Pick+ after it aced all tests, including small and moderate front overlap, side impact, rear crash, and roof strength.
While driver assistance technologies cost extra on most vehicles, the RX comes standard with the advanced Lexus Safety System+, which includes automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, and lane-departure warning. The RX is also equipped with airbags, anti-lock brakes, traction and stability control, and all other safety features you’re used to seeing in modern cars.

ENGINE

The RX 450h is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 combined with a 123-kilowatt electric motor, which makes 259 horsepower when using gasoline only and a net 308 horsepower. The EPA reports that this model gets 31 MPG city and 28 MPG highway.
