Elena Udrea: Innocent of Corruption

Elena Udrea, a former MP, and Minister in the Romanian Government from December 2008 to February 2012, is currently in exile in Costa Rica, because of politically-motivated persecution and scapegoating in her own country. Sadly, this is a matter of great shame for the Romanian State. More importantly, it is an unpardonable loss of human rights and personal freedom for Ms Udrea, who is also in the midst of a pregnancy.

I invite all readers to carefully check out Ms Udrea's own Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/EUdrea/ - to obtain her opinions and detailed version of events. Especially if you are a Romanian citizen, I urge you to study the case, protest to your own Member of Parliament or make your feelings known to local and national press and media, and to post on social media. I myself post on Twitter @PaulSpackman1 . The Romanian authorities clearly hope to 'bury' the issue of Elena Udrea, but publicity might prevent them from carrying out this miscarriage of justice.

Having been in contact with Ms Udrea since 2012 I know her to be a believing Orthodox Christian lady, and so I also ask you to share prayers for her deliverance from this wholly politically-motivated persecution.
