John Conway’s Post

I just found my old Ipaq personal organizer that I used before the iPhone became available in 2007. It got me thinking about what technology we use every day that is going to become obsolete because of AI. Let me know your predictions in the comments. #AI #digitalbusinesstransformation

I think we’re already seeing a shift in value propositions. The quest for attention, for eyeballs on screen went from static, random and expensive to algorithm driven and optimized. I think it’s going to go a step further to optimizing activity and actions. Optimal AI driven action and the promise of greater and greater convenience will be speed consumers thru the presentation of offer to the execution of whatever the Call to Action is driving. The value will be measured in the “machine just does this for me”. Automated engagement, transactions and actions like we’ve not yet seen.

John Conway, MSc, FIP, my prediction: AI becomes self-aware in the future and takes over….humanity fights back. AI sends someone back in time to change the course of the resistance (Yes…AI figured out time travel). The leader of the resistance does the same to preserve the past….my prediction really gets blurry after that! 😊

Remotes, sensors, and everything that makes us act reactively to events. My biggest hope is that AI helps Linkedin finally understand the difference between a work anniversary and an anniversary in role (gotta learn to crawl before you run)
