Laura's story is one of courage and compassion where the Lebanese Red Cross was there when medical care was not an option for Laura and her triplets. #ItCouldBeYou or anyone you know in need of assistance, so let’s make sure the #LebaneseRedCross are able to continue their efforts! About us
Who We Are The Lebanese Red Cross (LRC) is a humanitarian organization that has been part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement since 1947. We are led by 2700 volunteers and 600 members, all working towards one mission: to provide relief to victims of natural and human-made disasters, help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies, and to mitigate the suffering of the most vulnerable. What We Do In 2016, the LRC provided free ambulance and first aid services to more than 262,000 people in need all over the Lebanese territory. We were also able to aid more than 1,073,300 beneficiaries through our blood transfusion services, medico-social and primary healthcare centers, disaster management units, youth activities, and nursing institutes. What We Aim For We are always striving to do better and to help more people, and ultimately aim to increase our capacities to respond to 100% of calls for emergency medical aid.
