Appearance

This species is an epiphyte with egg-shaped pseudobulbs enveloped basally by several pairs of imbricating sheaths. Each bulb carries a single erect oblong light green leaf. It produces an erect to slightly arching, axillary inflorescence arising on a newly matured pseudobulb and carrying a few [4 to 6] flowers.
