You must be working out four times a week but it is not enough to just have a chiseled body as the first thing people notice about you is your face. You need to lose fat from your face to get that high cheekbone and chiseled jaw line. As your face also accumulates fat like your body, facial exercises are extremely important to lose the face fat and the double chin. A proper diet and the right facial exercises will help you have a slimmer face. So, here is a list of facial exercises that you can do at home and reduce face fat. 1. Chin lifts

This is one of the best ways to get rid of a double chin. It stretches and engages almost all the muscles on your face. You can do this exercise either in standing position or sitting down. Make sure you are not using your lips while performing this exercise.

How to do it: Tilt your head upwards. Now tighten your lips and hold the position for about 10 seconds. Now return to the original position. Do this 10 times.

2. Chewing gum

How to do it: Take a sugar-free chewing gum and chew it for around 20 minutes twice a day. It is advisable to do it 30 minutes after your dinner and lunch.

3. Jaw release

This jaw exercise will help you to get high cheekbones and sharp jaw line. It will also help in reducing double chin. Jaw release will engage and stretch the muscles around your cheeks, jaws and lips.

How to do it: Stand straight and mimic chewing action with your lips closed. Breathe in and out. You can also hum while breathing. Now, open your mouth wide and press your tongue to your bottom teeth. Hold this position for about 5 seconds. Repeat this 10 times.

4. Cheek puff

How to do it: Take a deep breath, close your mouth and hold the air in your mouth or cheeks. Hold it in one cheek for 10 seconds and then move it to the other cheek and hold it there for 10 seconds. Then exhale. Do this 10 times.

5. Lips pull

It is one of the most effective facial exercises. It will lift your face muscles and make you look younger. If you practice this regularly, it will give you a chiseled jaw line and high cheekbone. You can do this either in sitting or standing position.

How to do it: Keep your head straight. Push your lower jaw out and lift your lower lips as much as possible. You will feel the stretch in your jaw line and the chin muscles. Hold this position for about 15 seconds and the return to the original position. Repeat this 10 times.
