William Shakespeare 2000

I have just been smitten by the "English" bug bigtime. They have a lot going for them. The roses are generally big and so luscious. Plus, the fragrance most have is to die for. Enough said...This is one of the roses that PARK put on sale in June. Shortly after I planted the bareroots in pots we got hit with 21 days over 100 degress!!!! I was lucky all my PARK roses made it! The following picture is of William Shakespeare 2000's first blooms.

Wow! Nice looking flowers on your bush... I got Moonstone and The Prince during that sale. Both are happy and have bloomed several times since I got them late last June. Here's a pic of The Prince taken just a couple of days ago... Seems like the colors are a bit darker than WS2000.

WS 2000 looks crammed with petals. Looks very old-fashioned. Mmmmmm! How is the smell? I need that rose!

The prince is an awesome color!

William Shakespeare 2000 is a wonderful rose all-around. Great shape and color (mine are darker than yours, however), disease resistance, and good repeat. You're going to really love that beauty.

Char your WS2000 is truly a beauty.

My WS2000 never looked as good as yours but then again its
only been in the ground from early spring maybe next year it will look better.

These are beautiful..All my late bare root Parks roses are thriving too.. DO you think that planting bare roots late is best???? They have seemed to have grown more and had earlier and bigger blooms than any bare roots I have planted in April???????

Lacking Molineux refined nose that appreciates the complexities of scents, all I can say is that this rose fragrance is wonderful.

Kate, the color of this rose may be lighter because the pot is on my patio so the plants gets some relief from the afternoon sun.

Thank you to those enablers, I read all your comments about the different roses before I made my selections. I believe that I am going to be pleased with my new roses.
