Switzerland Back In Miss Universe

Fans of the traditional Miss Schweiz (Miss Switzerland) Pageant will be delighted to hear that the organization has reacquired the rights to send their winner to the Miss Universe Pageant. In 2013, the organizers decided to drop the rights to send their contestant to Miss Universe as they moved more towards a charity based pageant. This news means that Miss Switzerland 2018, Jastina Doreen Riederer (19), will compete for the 2018 Miss Universe title in Bangkok, Thailand on December 17th.

GB Opinion: We are delighted to see that the Miss Schweiz Pageant has decided to return to Miss Universe. We have missed Switzerland and it is great to have them back.
