AMELIA ISLAND, Fla. - Lindsay Davenport has withdrawn from the Bausch & Lomb Championship semifinals Saturday because she was feeling ill.

Tournament director John Arrix said Saturday that Davenport couldn't get out of bed and was dizzy. Arrix says Davenport's illness may stem from the cold her 9-month-old son had earlier this week.

Davenport was to have played top-seeded Maria Sharapova. Sharapova now gets a walkover to Sunday's title match, her first final on clay.
