Agnes Szavay stomed to victory in front of her home crowd at WTA Budapest, beating Patty Schnyder 6-2 6-4 in the final for the second year running.
Schnyder got back into the match as the second set began, with the players trading breaks of serve early on in what was a re-match of the 2009 final.
But it was Szavay who found the critical second break, and then served out the match to retain her title and secure her fourth career victory.
"It's unbelievable to win in Hungary again," Szavay said.
"The crowd was great, just like last year. To win two times at home, I can't describe this feeling.
"It was a tough match, especially because of the weather - it was really hot. We also both had long matches yesterday, so we were both pretty tired. But we tried to do our best.
"I think mentally it was better for me today. We played in the final last year and I won in a tight match, and I think she was thinking about it. She seemed a little nervous at the beginning."
