A fantastic vintage French grape hod, used within the vineyards of SW France. This is a really good sized hod and ideal as a planter.

This has a beautifully aged exterior and interior still showing its natural zinc.

This vintage grape harvest bucket is used for gathering the grapes in the vineyards by hand, especially useful due to their fluted shape and size. This one actually comes with its original zinc brace for sitting on your back with the original leather straps also.

This has clearly been used in the fields in the French vineyards since the 1950’s and are true collectors pieces making a real statement for anyone’s garden either sitting on the floor or hung on the wall made easier due to the holes where the strap holders would go. They would make great planters also, full of flowers or could be used as a wood basket for the outside patio fire, barbecue, and fire pit.

Condition: This vintage French grape hod is in good condition considering its age. That said it does have some rust at the bottom with a few areas that have worn through. By adding a plant lining to it, it is still totally usable. (See the photos)
