Works very well.
It works very well and fits my lens. It is 100% the same as usual Nikon lens you can buy from their website, this is only 90+% cheaper. I strongly recommend to buy this one if you want a lens hood if you have a lens with the right width.

Looks good and does the job at a fair price but ...
Just received and tested. Mounts on an 18-70 f3.5-4.5 but is neither tight nor ‘just right’. Does not wobble or rattle but I wonder how long before it no longer holds the way it does. It performs its function: reduce lens flare and absorbs the shock if the camera/lens takes a bump. So for the price, I do recommend it and it is good value. It does have a nice finish but in view of the above observation on the fit, I cannot say it is of good quality.Just received and tested. Awesome price and product.
This hood fits perfectly and is very sturdy. Just as good as the more pricer ones ! Works well in the field and protects sun flare ! .. The only down side is that you may have to wait a while for shipping.

Flimsy and doesn't fit properly.
The plastic cracked as soon as I tried to put it on, I even didn't realize it had an issue fitting. Had no issues with the JJ hood, that one was easy to put and was very sturdy.
