    A great camera

This is better than the Nikon aim and shoot I use to own and had to throw away because of the poorly designed battery cover latch. I just could not see spending money to repair it since it looked like a major and expensive repair was needed and the nearest authorized repair facility was too far away.

  • Good Entry Level Camera

I like this camera. It is very easy to use, takes great pictures, and it's very easy to transfer photos to the computer with the usb cord. Camera has basic photo editing software so you can preview a photo and then rotate the orientation or crop the image directly on the camera. It will record videos with sound...a 2 gig memory card will hold about 38 minutes of low quality video ( 640 x 480 ). The video is good enough to send people videos through email or upload to YouTube, but not good enough to watch on a HD Television. The only reason I gave this camera 4 stars instead of 5 is I didn't want people to think that they are getting a $300+ camera for around $100. Camera deserves 5 stars based on price and ease of use, but it is the only Sony 2010 model that uses AA batteries instead ...

  • Light, easy, rugged and simple to use.

Small, Simple, and easy to use. I really like the ability to use Double A batteries its handy and easy. This is a really basic camera with a simple and easy to use UI. The only thing I don't like is the low-resolution low contrast lcd Screen, it does not give the most accurate representation of how the pictures actually look, the pictures always look better on the computer. Over-all this camera is a breeze to use and is light and rugged.

  • Very Nice Camera!

I'm very happy with this purchase. It's got a lot of features for the money, it takes *great* macro shots, and it's light and easy to hold. About the only fault I'd find with it (and this is probably my problem, rather than a problem with the camera) is that it's more complicated than what I'm used to. There are a lot of features that take time to really understand (e.g., smile detection). Once you get over that, though, you'll find yourself taking some gorgeous shots. :)

  • Buy it if you're a cheap like me. Buy another if you're rich.

I bought this product because I like to film my breakdancing. i like that: - the quality can be crystal clear. The footage flows so well. I believe it has a high frame rate at least 30 or so. - It's a beautiful camera. It's silver and the design is amazing. - i got a lot of value out of the money I paid for it I dislike how: - their is no sound on the playback. - it could be smaller in size - even on the highest setting, the quality of pictures is only okay (so don't lete 12.1 mp fool you)
