Here at Delish, we're always trying to find new ways to make happy hour even happier. The easiest way we've found so far? Making our next round a batch of decadent dessert cocktails, of course. Think about it: desserts and booze? It's the ultimate BOGO special. And why shouldn't you have both? Luckily we've got 26 sweet and buzzy dessert cocktails that are the perfect nightcaps to end a meal (or start a night out). Time to bust out your cocktail shaker, these Brandy Alexanders aren't going to make themselves!

Dessert cocktails are the ultimate way to have your cake and drink it too. So we decided to take that pretty literally and turn some of our favorite desserts into incredibly drinkable cocktails. Why eat a snickerdoodle when you can down a caramel snickerdoodle martini, right? The same is absolutely true of pies. We'll take shaking up a batch of banana cream pie martinis, Key lime pie martinis, and pecan pie martinis over baking an actual pie, full-stop.

Are milkshakes more your speed? Well, turns out that alcohol + milkshakes = a match made in heaven. Be warned: Our recipes boozy s'mores milkshakes, Baileys coffee slushies, and red wine milkshakes all go down very easily and pack a punch! If you want to freestyle spiking your own homemade milkshake at home, we've found that vodka is often the most seamless liquor to mix in (and if you want to get fancy, try a vanilla vodka). And if you're going for a more tropical slushy vibe, you'll want to get your hands on our spiked coconut limeade and piña colada recipes.

To unlock the delicious concentrated flavor found in citrus skins, we made an oleo saccharum for this cocktail. Let us explain: Granulated sugar draws the flavorful essential oils out of citrus peels as they sit at room temperature. We love watching the sugar transform into a beautiful syrup, perfect for flavoring seltzer, cocktails, or desserts.
