Ingredients:

Method of Preparation:
Corn flour issieved, dried. In apot pour thewater, bring to theboil, then pour some
flour, salt, boil 5 minutes, pour theremaining flour pile. Boil, without mixtureinto
15-20 minutes. Then givestheheat slowly and stir well with awhisk, to not form
clumps(thewallscauldron - to thecenter). Polentaissmoothed with aspoon and
leaveon thestovefor 10-15 minuteswith lid. Cauldron onceshaken well and
polentaispoured on adry bottom timber.
Usually, mamaligaisserved with
melted butter, sour cream,cheese
fragmented, scrambled. Mamaliga
isawonderful garnish for dishes,
dressingsand meat or fish.
