By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Miss Earth Belize, Destiny Wagner is preparing for her final walk as Miss Earth 2021.

Destiny will crown her successor tomorrow in the Philippines where beauty ambassadors from over 80 countries are participating.

Simone Sleeuw is Belize’s representative at the 2022 pageant of Miss Earth in Manila.

Sleeuw hails from Caye Caulker and is a design and marketing student and an entrepreneur.

“I’m so happy to be here and to be a part of such an inspiring group of young women, all working towards making our Earth a better place,” Sleeuw said on Facebook.

Miss Earth 2022 will be crowned at the Okada Manila in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines.

This will be the 22nd edition of the international beauty pageant that advocates for environmental awareness, conservation, and social responsibility.

A total of 86 beauty ambassadors are competing for the Miss Earth 2022 crown.
