Four Classic Mercedes Cars Restored by Brabus

Brabus is not only about putting extra horsepower in Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Recently, the famous aftermarket tuner restored four classic Mercedes cars. The units include the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing, Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster, Mercedes-Benz 280 SE 3.5 Cabriolet, and the Mercedes-Benz 280 SL Pagoda.
The autos were given a six-star restoration process… Just because Brabus won’t settle for just five stars, apparently.
Here is a quick look at the recent work done by the classic car division of Brabus:
Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing
Around 4,500 hours was poured in returning the 300 SL Gullwing to its pristine condition. The classic Mercedes-Benz was given a baby blue paint-finish and a cream interior. Brabus paid so much attention in rebuilding the engine of the car and its interior design by only using only authentic Mercedes parts.
Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster
The convertible ended up looking new as Brabus gave it a dark exterior and black soft top with a contrasting tan leather surfaces and white steering wheel on its cabin. All interior elements were either repaired or replaced using only genuine Mercedes parts like the ones used during the production period of the auto.
Mercedes-Benz 280 SE 3.5 Cabriolet
After 2,500 hours of labor, the 280 SE 3.5 Cabrio took a blast from the past by appearing like how it used to when it first rolled out from the Mercedes factory. The car is highlighted by its blue paint finish, contrasting white soft top, and brown interior. Popping its hood and a view in its base reveal authentic Mercedes parts.
Mercedes-Benz 280 SL Pagoda
This rare classic Mercedes-Benz Pagoda got a polished cream exterior while its soft top and seat coverings came in green. The controls, steering wheel, instrument cluster and foot pedals of the auto were accented in black.
Prices
Getting these classic Mercedes cars will cost you around $370,000 for the Pagoda, $740,000 for the cabriolets, and a whopping $2.3 million for the iconic 300 SL Gullwing.
