Mauritania 50 Ouguiya Banknote, 2023, P-28a.3, UNC, Commemorative, Series C

This uncirculated 50 Mauritanian ouguiya note is a commemorative banknote issued by the Central Bank of Mauritania to celebrate the 50th anniversary of ouguiya currency. It is a gray and green note that is dated 18 June 2023, bears the signature of Mohamed Lemine Ould Dhehby, and measures 130 mm x 66 mm. Its obverse side features the Central Bank of Mauritania headquarters building and the Ibn Abass Mosque. Its reverse side shows a tea pot, musical instruments, wind turbines, the 50th anniversary logo, and solar panels. Security features include a gold pulsar windowed security thread, polymer at the center between paper, and a watermark of a bearded man with an electrotype 50.
