Jastina Doreen Riederer defeated ten other contestants in March 2018 to win the title of Miss Switzerland 2018 as she became the official representative of Switzerland in Miss Universe 2018. The gorgeous beauty is one of our Top 20 favourite contestants competing for the coveted title.
The 20-year-old beauty queen hails from Spreitenbach. Jastina is a retail trade specialist and loves to play sports in her free time, especially aerial ring acrobatics. The Swiss is a fluent speaker of English, German, Italian and Spanish. A helpful and giving person, Jastina is definitely a strong contestant in this year’s edition of Miss Universe 2018.
Jastina has also proven that she is confident and dedicated to performing well in the competition. She has already made new friends with the delegates of Miss Universe and is quite amicable. She also has a knack for designing and sewing her own clothes, which is also her passion. Speaking of passion, Jastina also loves to sing and dance aside from travelling.
Switzerland is yet to pioneer its win in Miss Universe beauty pageant. Last year, in Miss Universe 2017, the country withdrew its representation as no national pageant was held to crown the country representative. Dijana Cvijetic, Miss Universe Switzerland 2016, was also appointed due to the lack of hosting a national competition in that year as well. She represented Switzerland in Miss Universe 2016 but unfortunately failed to secure a position in the Top. With Justina's representation, the country’s chance to win its first-ever Miss Universe crown has definitely increased.
