Meanwhile, Zach Grenier (who plays David Lee) has been upgraded to series regular status, while America Ferrera, Gary Cole and Emmy-nominated Carrie Preston have all booked return engagements.
The Good Wife‘s upcoming fifth season will also examine Alicia and Cary’s impending mutiny from Lockhart Gardner, which will lead to a “civil war” with their new firm, exec producer Robert King told reporters at the Television Critics Association press tour in Beverly Hills. King added that the focus will “more about our team” and “not the guest stars coming in.”

SO anxious fornew episodes of GOOD WIFE to begin! Sounds like a stellar year ahead!
She was good playing the wife of Vice President Walden on Homeland.
She’s also John Slattery’s wife!
she was great on Homeland, I am also looking forward to the “Civil war”.
Talia balsam was also George Clooney’s only wife.
WOOHOOO! Carrie Preston!!! She ROCKS!
I think Carrie Preston is great for the show and I look forward to more DRAMA then SOAP in season 5. Four season of degradation of TGW is enough.
I remember her from a great episode of Family Ties 30 years ago.
I am so excited, I cannot wait! The drama with Alicia and Cary leaving Lockharte Gardener is going to be epic! The Irony is in the begining Alicia and Cary were not friends and now they are alies. I love irony.
