Horn Speaker – Best Place to Start
So I found this awesome site today which helps you design and build a horn speaker. Many people like the idea of a Horn speaker, but do not know where to start. That is where this site comes into play. There is a free download for an Excel spreadsheet which will actually calculate all the data for you. All you need is your speakers FS, QTS and VAS in Liters. The program will then calculate the best enclosure size for you.
The Bib is actually a really cool looking horn to, as it looks a lot like a t-line. It is also very simple to design, so I hope some of you try it out on a small scale. If you like it, ramp up the scale. But for anyone that has wanted to build a horn, this might be the best place to start.
