This Lebanese Tabbouleh spice blend makes a refreshing, herby salad with a basis of bulgar wheat. Mint and parsley combine with fresh tomatoes and onion, topped with a simple dressing of olive oil and lemon juice.

Originating from the Levant region, particularly Lebanon, this dish is a staple in Middle Eastern cuisine. 

Tabbouleh is celebrated for its health benefits, as it incorporates several nutrient-rich ingredients that when combined with the fiber of bulgar wheat make for a tasty superfood. Mint and parsley both contain high levels of nutrients. Mint is especially good for digestive health, and parsley is high in Vitamins K and C as well.

This light and flavorful salad serves as a versatile side dish or a standalone meal. Tabbouleh is often presented on a bed of lettuce leaves or accompanied by pita bread.

This Lebanese Tabbouleh spice blend contains:

  • Dried Mint
  • Dried Parsley
  • Black Pepper
  • Green Onion
  • Salt

To prepare, first finely chop fresh onions, tomatoes, and cucumber. Next, whisk together lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper until blended. Finally, add bulgar wheat, and once plump add the chopped onions, tomatoes, cucumber, and spice blend. Stir until combined and serve.
