Here's What Valentine's Day Could Mean for You, According to Your Zodiac Sign

Love is in the air!

While many have mixed feelings about Valentine's Day, celebrity astrologer Kyle Thomas says the romantic season spans longer than Feb. 14 thanks to the "great deal of cosmic energy dancing in the heavens above."

Whether you're single or in a relationship, Thomas — who's known for his cosmic guidance for celebrities, business executives and prominent influencers — says this year's Valentine's Day is expected to be "an intense" one, particularly due to various planetary movements.

The energy starts to be felt on Feb. 13, as Venus (the planet of love) "kisses" Neptune (the planet of spirituality). Thomas says this can "cast an enchanting energy" that can "lead people to fall in love" or "connect with a soulmate."

On Feb. 14, Mars (the planet of passion) "unites exactly" with Pluto (the planet of intensity). This energy, which Thomas says "has been building all week," is expected to last until the weekend which can bring "explosive energy" for better or for worse.

Fortunately, Thomas reminds us that the moon will be "gliding through the fields of Taurus" on Feb. 14, which he says is "one of the best" places for the moon when getting in touch with our emotions. Jupiter (planet of luck) is also in Taurus, which he says "can bring extra luxury, beauty and miracles" to our lives. 

February's new moon will also be in Aquarius, the sign that Thomas says rules our social lives, communities and networks. "We may find that we meet people through friends or wish to spend more time with our friends this Valentine’s season," he predicts.

If you don't find the one on actual Valentine's Day, don't give up! Thomas says you may feel a "karmic, passionate connection" near Feb. 17 as Venus and Pluto unite — or "even better" around Feb 22, as Venus unites with Mars.

Aries (March 21 – April 19)

Thinking of taking your friendship further, Aries? "With so much exhilarating energy highlighting your social life," Thomas says it "might be time to turn one of your friends or acquaintances into a sweetheart."

If you have a crush on someone, he suggests putting yourself out there. "Ask for an introduction or take the leap!" he says.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

Feeling lucky? That sounds about right, as Thomas says Taurus is the "luckiest zodiac sign of all" around Valentine's Day. "Dreams can become your reality," he puts forth.

However, he warns you to take action instead of waiting for it to come to you. "Know your worth, what you want and take steps to put yourself in the line of luck," he says. "True love and soulmates are especially possible now!"

Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

It's time to mix things up, Gemini! Thomas says to "step outside your comfort zone" and "consider dating outside your normal type" if you're single — just don't limit yourself.

If you're already in a relationship, Thomas suggests to "plan some long-distance travel or immerse yourself in something unique that you don’t always do."

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

Can you feel the intimacy? Thomas says you may be "feeling the urge to merge and want to go deeper than ever" with a significant other. "Sex, sensuality, and being vulnerable will be sweet like honey."

If you're single, however, Thomas says you "may want to take it slow before rushing in right now." Luckily, the stars are "still bringing lots of opportunities for partnership," he adds.

Leo (July 23 – August 22) 

Leo, Thomas says "magnificent energy shines on you" during this season of love. In fact, he predicts that you "could find your perfect match!"

However, he adds that you may see your long-time partner act "more intense than usual" around this time. Singles, too, could "feel a dramatic attraction" — or even a pull to "a lover from a past life," he adds.

Virgo (August 23 – September 22)

The vibes are about to be solid, Virgo, particularly for commitment. Thomas says this is a time when "you’re going to want to be practical, grounded and realistic" about what you’re looking for, whether you're in a relationship or not.

If you’ve been feeling cautious, Thomas says "don’t forget that love favors those who open themselves up to it!" Take the risk!

Libra (September 23 – October 22)

Get ready for the romance to heat up this season, Libra! "You’re in the mood for love even more than usual," says Thomas.

"Plan something festive and social that’ll get you laughing and learning more about each other." suggests Thomas. "You also may find yourself ravenously passionate about someone and can’t take your mind off of them."

Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)

Listen here, Scorpio! Thomas says out of every zodiac sign, yours is "most favored in marriage, union and partnership" this year. The stars are "opening the door for you to achieve the love story of your dreams."

However, Thomas says you must first "be sure that you’re not repeating relationship cycles from the past." He says to "aways choose someone that loves you tenderly, yet still gets you fired up inside."

Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)

Sagittarius, it's time to mingle! "Socializing with friends new and old and linking up with neighbors will do you well now," says Thomas. "You will likely find an instant spark if you’re out and about."

He suggests you plan something "engaging," like attending a comedy show or concert. Thomas predicts this will " exude your light" as the key "is to unlock your gifts of wit, humor and persuasion."

Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)

Get ready for a great Valentine's Day, Capricorn. "The planets are singing your praises now," says Thomas, noting that this "could be one of your favorite Valentine’s seasons in years."

"You’ll be more attractive than ever and have a lucky pep in your step as if you’re dancing along the yellow brick road," he explains. "Singles have a high likelihood of finding their one true love, so put yourself out there."

Thomas says couples, too, could "reignite their spark."

Aquarius (January 20 – Februrary 18)

The spotlight's on you, Aquarius! With so much celestial power aiding you, Thomas says "the universe is at your command."

The key? Know "exactly what you want to build toward" in both your personal and romantic life, he says, adding that it may include letting go of old patterns "to achieve a new or deeper relationship."

Pisces (February 19 – March 20)

Pisces, get ready for a whirlwind year! Thomas says you "may feel eager to treat yourself" and your sweetheart to "something extra special" — or perhaps traveling could "fan the flames of love" near this time, too.

"Consider booking a quick trip with your significant other," suggests Thomas. "Or head out on the town with friends who will applaud as you flaunt your beauty."
