The trend, otherwise called #broccolifreckles, has gained over 3 million views under the hashtag and encourages people to use a head of broccoli to apply makeup to their faces to create a surprisingly real freckled look. (And needless to say, it does a pretty realistic job!) In the video, the beauty influencer takes a broccoli floret and dabs it in concealer. Then, she uses the vegetable to apply the makeup on her face. Jones places the freckles up and down her face — starting with her cheeks and making her way to her nose. "trying the broccoli freckles hack,' she writes on the video, which has gotten 1.8 million views. At the end of filming, she glances over at the piece of broccoli with a smirk and nod of approval. "I love this 😍 but full disclosure couldn’t help but saying 'everyone’s so creative' in my head 😆🤦🏼♀️" one TikTok user comments on Jones' post. "I would have never thought of this haha 👏," someone else writes. "as a person with real freckles this look accurate but you should have some here and there aswell.. its never just centered around the nose😂," the comment reads.
