I’m a pooping expert — here’s what to do when you want to go immediately

Get a load of this.

Dr. Janine Bowring, a naturopathic doctor based in Canada, has shared her top three tips that she says will make you poop instantly.

“No. 1 is figs,” Bowring explained in a TikTok last week that has already reached over 4 million views.

“Figs are fantastic, they’re loaded with fiber, fabulous to help with that constipation,” she continued.

Six dried figs have about 5 grams of fiber, according to the American Heart Association — which is more than 17% of the recommended daily fiber value of 25 to 30 grams.

The No. 2 suggestion for going No. 2 immediately — drinking water.

“Of course, you need to be properly hydrated with quality water to keep things moving,” Bowring noted.

And, finally, the doctor claims that adding olive oil into your coffee will really help move things along.

“Olive oil in coffee, yes, this is a recipe I shared, it helps with weight loss as well,” she reported, referencing a 2018 study published in the European Journal of Nutrition.

The study found that consuming extra virgin olive oil could help reduce body fat in women, as well as lower blood pressure.

And, it looks like Bowring might be onto something — according to SELF, because of its high-fat content, olive oil can “stimulate motility in the colon,” making it easier to go.

In the comments section of Bowring’s TikTok, some people shared what makes them go to the bathroom instantly.

“Shopping in Target,” one person laughed.

Another joked, “#4 getting Starbucks and walking around the mall.”

“Sooooo taco bell should be on the list????” someone else wondered.

The Post reached out to Bowring for comment.

This isn’t the first time the naturopathic doctor has shared her insight into bowel movements.

In June, Bowring explained the viral “ghost poop” phenomenon, claiming that if you experience this, it may mean you’re one of the “healthiest people on the planet.”

The not-so-scary term refers to what happens when you go to the bathroom only to discover there is no poop.

The same goes for when you wipe, and there is nothing there.

“A ‘ghost poop’ is a term used to describe when one’s stool sinks to the bottom of the toilet and seemingly vanishes without a trace,” gut health expert and registered dietitian Julie Balsamo told The Post at the time.

Bowring said the poop goes into the abyss of the toilet bowl thanks to a healthy diet and sleep cycle.

“It’s because you’ve got that fiber, you’ve got enough of those essential fatty acids, your circadian rhythms are in tune with nature with the light and dark cycle of the day, and you’ve got that ghost poop,” she explained.
