On Wednesday, February 13th, 2013, Prof. Dr. Alessandro Tolomelli, a professor at the Faculty of Education Science of the University of Bologna, visited the International University of Sarajevo (IUS).
This was the second time that this distinguished guest visited IUS and was welcomed by IUS Rector, Prof. Dr. Özer Çınar.
During those two meetings following has been discussed: the future development of cooperation and possibility of signing the Memorandum of Understanding between the IUS and the University of Bologna, establishment of cooperation in the exchange of professors, student exchange and joint research projects that will be jointly administered by international donors. It was also agreed that the professors of the Faculty of Education of the University of Bologna, will help establish the Faculty of Education at IUS.
Prof. Dr. Alessandro Tolomelli will deliver a lecture entitled: The concept of empowerment from theory to practice, on Monday, February 18th, 2013, at 2 p.m., in the grand Amphitheater hall of the University.
