It is truly remarkable to see a standing building which its body twisted. The birth of twisted buildings began when Santiago Calatrava designed and built the first ever twisted building which is the Turning Torso.

The buildings seem to rotate the traditional rectangular tower around an axis, creating a spiraling, ribbon-like aesthetic. When the Turning Torso was completed on 2005, the modern design and technique has gained popularity and replicated to other building projects.
