Yoga Facial Exercises

Dense Cheeks

This is quite simple and easy facial yoga exercise to perform. Just take a large breath through your mouth and hold it by closing mouth so your cheeks will be puffed out. Release the breath, after a few seconds.

This exercise strengthens your cheek muscles and prevents thinner appearance from your cheeks, so that you get rid of aging in middle age.

Flat Forehead

To do this face exercise, expand your eyes by exposing the whites of your eyes as much as possible. Hold this exercise until water starts in eyes (up to 50–60 seconds).

This face yoga exercise will make your eyes watering, it seems this exercise may not the best way to avoid wrinkles, but this is in fact an extremely beneficial exercise, the muscles around your eyes and forehead works good, so it will erase the effects of aging. And causing your eyes to water will eliminate the free radicals from your system is an extra bonus.

Do away with Crow’s Feet

This exercise will take some practice, but when you done it accurately, it can lessen the look of crow’s feet (the superior wrinkles around the eyes).

To begin, lift and release your lower eyelid without moving any facial muscles. Then, press against the outer line of your crow’s feet with your fingertips, applying mild pressure. This will make enough pressure for the muscle to work against.

While doing this exercise, be sure to apply gentle pressure; don’t pull too tough. Since the skin is very sensitive around your eyes, you might want to moisturize before doing this exercise.

Lift Nasal Labial Wrinkle

This face exercise is also known as the “puppet face.” To do it, smile by showing your teeth, and then softly press your fingertips into the wrinkle between your nose and lips. Next, raise the muscles up and push your fingers down so as to apply slight struggle.

This exercise gives you plump cheeks, fleshy cheeks are the sign of youthful vitality; this exercise strengthens your cheek muscles thus, helping to re-establish more youthful.

Strengthen Neck and Chin

This exercise is called as “baby bird.” To do this exercise, press the tilt of your tongue to the roof of your mouth, then swallow by pointing your chin to the ceiling.

The neck is often the first place of showing aging sign, and this face exercise will strengthen the muscles of your chin as well as the platysma, and the muscles that surround your upper chest and collarbone.

Look Side to Side

This is very easy exercise. Simply look from side to side with your eyes. This is a brilliant way to avoid crow’s feet and sagging muscles.

In addition to these face exercises, be sure to keep your skin hydrated, drink plenty of water and cut the amount of salt you consume, because salt may dehydrate your skin, which leads to the more development of wrinkles.
