Time wealth

a crapton of clocks

I actually have a lot of time. I have 24 hours every day. I have 60 minutes every hour. Further, I have 60 seconds every minute.

And so do you.

And yet, it’s very easy to feel like there’s not enough time.

When will I get the house cleaned? I would love to learn how to play that musical instrument, but I really don’t have time. Sounds like a great read, just add it to my endless stack of books to get to! Yah, I know I need to reach out to that friend, soon. I just need to get caught up on some stuff, first.

How about this: it’s actually not about how much time we have, it’s about how we use the time that we have.

Holy wow, I feel my body softening instantly with that statement.

Focusing on the task can bring it to swift and sure completion. Alternatively, stopping to take a break can catapult accomplishment when we pick up the project again. Either might refresh and nourish our body and spirit. How might I want to use my time, today? How might I revisit that accordingly as the day unfolds?

Have you noticed? We always have time for the things we truly want… Perhaps I might take an honest and compassionate look at my needs and priorities, eh?

Could I trade some of my evening movie-streaming for instead bringing out my watercolors? Hmmm…Interesting.

Looking at abundance, wealth, and richness is about throwing away our lack-covered glasses.

What if I no longer spend or take time, but instead give it — from my wealth of time? How might that supply even more time abundance for myself?

Wow, this is the kind of life I want to be living.
