Converse is bringing its signature shoes a sugary spin this season, thanks to “Wonka.” The upcoming Timothee Chalamet-led fantasy film — releasing in theaters from Warner Bros. on Dec. 15 — has joined forces with the footwear label on a brand-new collection.

The new range, which releases on Converse’s website on Dec. 7, includes adults’ and children’s footwear and apparel retailing from $35 to $130. One of the key styles in the line is Converse’s staple high-top Chuck 70 sneaker, cast in two colorways with swirling candy-like patterns— one deep chocolate brown leather, another purple and pink suede. In a similar vein, the brand’s high-top canvas Chuck Taylor All Star shoes are also cast in burgundy corduroy — inspired by protagonist Willy Wonka’s signature outfit — and a dark brown hue with multicolored trim.

A standout style from the collection is the brand’s futuristic All Star BB Trilliant CX sneaker, whose round-toed uppers are cast in a shimmering metallic gold reminiscent of Wonka’s signature candy bar labels. The style is complete with deep purple lining, as well as matching gold tongues and soles.

The collection also features a lineup of kids’ sneakers, with the Chuck Taylor All Star cast in printed soft purple suede and deep brown colorways. A similar deep brown hue — as well as multicolored trimmings and two-toned Velcro straps — can also be seen on a low-top style for younger children. All are complete with flat white rubber soles for a versatile base.

The collection is complete with logo-branded apparel, including T-shirts, sweatshirts and sweatpants in a color palette matching the shoe line. Rounding out the range are a variety of casual accessories, including a backpack and a reversible bucket hat.

Converse’s collection with “Wonka” marks the film’s latest collaborative line. Warner Bros. Discovery has also teamed up with a wide range of brands — including Fossil, Funko and Tom Davies — for co-branded collections of jewelry, eyewear, toys and more to celebrate the fantasy film’s release.

In other “Wonka” news, retailer Bloomingdale’s has also revamped its pop-up Carousel shop in tandem with the film’s release. The resulting display includes a variety of exclusive, co-branded lines and a curation of fashion, accessories, home goods and more themed after the sweet fantasy feature — including an exclusive Kurt Geiger line of handbags, jewelry and home goods. You can shop the “Wonka”-inspired curation now on Bloomingdale’s website.
