Michelle Khan-Colin

Hailing from the community of Princes Town, she is the first Muslim Miss Trinidad and Tobago representative and of East Indian descent to place at an major international beauty pageant. Michelle Khan represented Trinidad and Tobago at the Miss World 1995 pageant in Sun City, SA where she became T&T's first representative to cop the Queen of the Caribbean title. She was crowned 2nd Runner Up at the Miss World 1995 finals. She then went on to participate in the Miss Universe 1996 pageant where she ranked 12th place in the preliminaries.

She modeled in Europe for a few years and then went on to win the 1998 edition of the Top Model of the World competition. She remains to this date the only representative from T&T to have won that international pageant.
