In a dazzling display of elegance and style, Miss Martinique emerged victorious in the prestigious Top Model Fast Track competition at Miss World 2023.
The competition took place today at the Aurika, Mumbai Skycity hotel in India.
The delegates wore outfits from designers in their home country and gave their best catwalks in front of the judges.
By winning the competition, Axelle René secured a spot in the Top 40 semi-finalists at Miss World.
Winning the Top Model competition is a good omen for René, as former title holders have clinched the Miss World crown or placed among the Top Five.
Miss Türkiye placed second in the modelling competition while Miss Botswana and Miss Slovakia completed the Top Four.
The Caribbean had a strong showing in the Top Model fast-track event.
Miss Dominican Republic María Victoria Bayo was among the top delegates from the Americas region while Miss France Clémence Botino, who is from Guadeloupe, was a finalist from Europe.
