Caribbean delegates’ good fortune at international beauty pageants in 2023 continues as three representatives earned semi-final spots at the Top Model of the World 2023 competition in Egypt.

Miss Trinidad and Tobago Leteisha Clarke, Miss Puerto Rico Andreina Vega Rosa and Miss Dominican Republic Danilka German Lerebours, who were the only Caribbean delegates, advanced from a pool of over 40 women into the Top 16 at Friday’s competition.

After parading in swimwear and evening gowns, German Lerebours was the only Caribbean delegate to advance into the Top Six for a chance to win the Dominican Republic’s second title and the Caribbean’s third since 1998.

The judges eventually crowned Miss Mexico Mariana Macias Ornelas as Top Model of the World 2023.
